The Student Gumball Rally also known as "Student Brakeaway" is a major car rally with over 150 participating teams travelling from the various European countries (mainly the UK), ending in Spain.  This year the rally is running from 24th to the 29th of August, additional details can be found at www.studentbrakeaway.com.  We have chosen to collect sponsorship for the event, to donate to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Our team name is yet to be confirmed but if you sponsor us and make a suggestion (email your suggestion to timothyjohnspence@gmail.com) then we might take your suggestion into account when chosing the name for our team.  Our team consists of 2 guys from the University of Hull, Timothy Spence and Leo Martin.  We'll be driving a 2001 Vauxhall Corsa over the 1500 mile route and then an additional 1500 back from Valencia to Hull.

We hope to raise £1500 and we understand this is a huge target.  As well as private sponsorship we are approaching a number of companies and institutions to help sponsor us.
