Stuff A Bus

No child should experience an empty Christmas. Help us to help families this winter.
The cost-of-living crisis is forcing households across Northern Ireland to make impossible choices. 1 in 4 children are living in poverty and 1 in 14 households face food insecurity.
We need you to help us raise £75,000 to help ease that burden, give the gift of choice to families to ensure that everyone can experience
some magic this Christmas.
Money is tight for everyone, but even giving a little amount to our online fund can make a huge difference to those who are choosing between heating, eating or a stocking filler this December.
Stuff A Bus NI is an award-winning initiative started by Translink and U105 in aid of the Salvation Army and St Vincent de Paul’s annual
Christmas Family Appeal, which has been supporting underprivileged children in Northern Ireland for 40 years by ensuring they have a present to open at Christmas.
1 in 5 adults in Northern Ireland live in poverty and it’s likely that number will continue to grow.
Last year your generosity and support helped us raise over £100,000
which helped to support almost 40,000 children.
We’re asking you to make an online donation which will allow
us to purchase a toy, provide support and help families where they need it the
most.
This very special campaign has always relied on the
generosity of and support from the people of Northern Ireland. Thank you for helping us keep the magic of Christmas alive.

The Society of St Vincent de Paul (SVP) is an international charity and the largest voluntary charity in Ireland. SVP members in Northern Ireland work in all communities to support people whatever their background, who are experiencing poverty and social exclusion, promoting self-sufficiency and working for social justice.
Every year SVP spends approximately £3 million to help those experiencing poverty in Northern Ireland. Last year, SVP responded to tens of thousands of calls for assistance from members of the public.
