Story
On the 12th-13th September, Lorraine Kelly will show off her best moves during a 24 hour dance-tastic fundraising challenge for the STV Appeal in September, Lorraine's Shimmy across Scotland
The challenge will see her shimmy way across the country raising money for children living in poverty. During an intense 24 hours, Lorraine will take part in as many zumba, dance and exercise classes she can, accompanied by her Zumba instructor, Maxine Jones, while meeting local schools and groups who have done their bit to fundraise for the STV Appeal.
Lorraine, who is a trustee of the STV Appeal, took a break from her regular Zumba class to talk about the challenge:
"Having presented the big STV Appeal live show for the past three years, I am thrilled to now have the opportunity to help fight child poverty by shimmying my way across Scotland”, Lorraine said. “It's set to be a brilliant, fun and exhausting fundraising challenge and I hope dance groups and fitness fans all over the country get behind me and help raise as much as possible for this incredibly important cause.”
