Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am doing race for life because in August 2014 I was diagnosed with anal cancer at the age of 50. After chemo and lots of Radiotherapy/Tomotherapy my cancer has gone !! Still having checks but without cancer research, things may have been different. In 2012 we lost our mum/ nanna to lung cancer, and have witness how hard it is.
It's been a tough slog and an emotional rollercoster for myself and my wonderful family. I always give to cancer research but I'd like to do this firstly for myself and also to help other people .
I can't thank my consultant Dr chadwick and all the radiotherapists at the city hospital enough. I am now back at work and the support from my amazing family, friends & work as been fantastic. I would just like to thank everyone- lets beat this!
The love ,strength and support I couldn't have done it without you all whom I love dearly. I'd like to help give something back to help beat cancer.
