Dorchester Abbey's Dorchester Festival is raising money in 2024 to support both the Abbey and Restore, which supports individuals to live with increased freedom from the constraints of mental ill health, through therapeutic activity, coaching and learning.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to read this. Some of you will remember that I abseiled down the Tower to kick off the Dorchester Festival four years ago. I was terrified but, to be honest, when I'd landed safely I would have done it again straight away! Not sure I feel quite the same now but I hope to recapture the feeling and raise money for PACT the Fostering and Adoption charity that supports Adoptive families for a lifetime. They are our Festival partners this year and I'm a PACT Trustee as well as the Rector both charities are very close to my heart. Four years ago I raised almost £2,000 and I want to do even better so please help by sponsoring me - and asking your friends to do the same!
