My wonderful Dad was a patient at St Luke's and they looked after him and the rest of our family so beautifully. He asked me if he was in Heaven ten minutes after arriving at St Luke's having been in hospital for the previous two weeks where the care was so poor.

The Hospice is such a fantastic place and so very supportive to both the patient and their families - they really helped me and my family cope with the loss of our Dad.

During World War 2 Dad was in the Parachute Regiment and so, although I may be mad, I think he would approve of my efforts to raise some much needed funds by throwing myself out of an aeroplane!!
