Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit Jean's family's JustGiving page in memory of a dearly loved wife, Mum, Grannie, GreatGrannie, sister and friend.
Jean has just left us peacefully without waking again from her sleep, after many years bearing her Alzheimer's illness bravely with all the cheerfulness humour courage and stoicism that was hers all her life.
Jean was outgoing, caring and compassionate, she loved people and enjoyed her times keeping up with her big family and many friends.
Of her many interests, husband John, Sue Carol & Mick and all of us remember our Jean best outdoors, in the gardens of our many homes, on her allotment, in her greenhouse, visiting gardens at home and on holiday, playing in the garden with our children; she really lived for gardening, she loved flowers, and outdoors was where she most liked to be. Even as she became ill we were still able to help her enjoy all these things for as long as possible and they continued to give her great pleasure and comfort until she became too frail to take part.
Alzheimer's is a devastating disease and in memory of our beloved Jean we want to support this society in its work to help all sufferers and their families, and, ultimately, to find a cure.
Jean was kind, loving and generous and always there ready to help anyone who needed it. So if you would like to remember her in this way, your donation would be really important to her.
