Bury Hospice does 'Strictly come Dancing' as 24 contestants gear up for the dance challenge of their life. Each will spend 12 weeks learning new dances to be performed in front of a live audience.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

When my lovely husband Paul died 23rd April 2021 after a 7 week battle with Liver cancer his regular charity donations stopped. Bury Hospice was always close to Paul's heart as his close friend Jim died there a number of years ago.

I did the Memory Walk with my gorgeous lab Phoebe and a close friend whose son had died and been supported by the Hospice and was keen to do more.

When I saw the advert in the Bury Times for Strictly I was very excited! I have always wanted to learn to dance properly but Paul admitted to having 2 left feet so it never happened...now is my chance to make him and all my family and friends proud ❤❤❤
