Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my just giving page. I will be doing a skydive on … October in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society. As some of you may know, my dear dad has suffered from Alzheimer’s for some years and has just gone into permanent residential care, a heart breaking decision.
I have a real fear of heights, couldn’t even pluck up the courage to climb the steps up to the Whispering Gallery at St Pauls Cathedral! But I very much want to raise money for this charity which helps to fund the research into the disease, as well as helping carers and sufferers. . I’ll be jumping from a plane at over 10,000 ft., freefalling for the first 5,000 ft. at 120 mph and then parachuting the rest of the way back down to earth.
Donating through Just Giving is simple and quick. Your details are safe with Just Giving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate. No matter how little or how much, I’ll be so very grateful for any donations.
So please dig deep and donate now.
Thank you,
Sue
