We provide mountain rescue services to aid those in need in our local mountains

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.  As you know we already enjoy challenging hobbies but wanted to do something outwith our comfort zone to raise money for a group of people that we admire i.e mountain rescue.  You may not realise that mountain rescue are involved in far more than helping outdoor enthusiasts.
They are not only on hand to help in the hills. Increasingly, the team is asked to search and help in non-mountain incidents where local people have gone missing. These rescues frequently involve the very young or elderly and in these instances they work closely with Police Scotland and their other partner agencies.  We have chosen to raise funds for the Dundonnell MRT whose 35 volunteer members cover an area that includes our local patch but also the vast area that includes many of the mountains we enjoy.  We are funding the jumps ourselves so all your donations will go to Dundonnell MRT. Please give all that your can and make it worthwhile for us to actually leave that aircraft!!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally  secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
