Rory and I will be taking part in the Manchester Marathon on Sunday 16^th April next year in support of Sunflowers once again, a wonderful and supportive charity in Stroud. This will be a full marathon event of 26 miles starting from Old Trafford football ground in the centre of
Manchester.

I want to be able to continue supporting Sunflowers by raising funds and awareness of mental health, particularly the struggle of people who are at risk of suicide, and the families and friends who are trying to come to terms with the loss of a loved one through suicide.

Sunflowers in a small, non-profit making, organisation which
was set up a few years ago by people who had their own personal stories to tell. They do not charge a fee but will spend as much time as it takes to support a person in desperate need until appropriate professional help, if needed, can be found. This may be through the NHS or through private therapies.
