Story
The 11th July 2023 I said to my dad 'see you later', this was the last time we spoke, as in the earlier hours of the 12th July his fight and determination to beat the awful disease of blood cancer came to an end. Dad had been amazingly strong and brave for over three years, attending hospital visits day and night, blood transfusions, tablets and injections, doing anything he could to stay with us. Having the support and strength in my mum helped him through the dark times.
Two years to the day, I am honoured and proud to walk in his memory at this years Relay for Life, raising money - with your support, to help in the research for our loved ones, past, present and future, in the hope that our children and generations to come are not affected by this and can live free from the fear of cancer.
I know that dad will be proud and he will be my biggest supporter on the day (although probably laughing at me at times too!).
Thank you for your support
Together we are beating cancer.
