NYC 1/2 Marathon · 16 March 2014

Celebrating its 40th Anniversary in 2019, Beagle Welfare and its supporters have helped thousands of Beagles and their owners by providing advice and guidance on the breed, encouraging responsible breeding practice and rehoming Beagles whose owners are unable to do so, relying on your donations.

Story

Holby was a 2 years old frightened and insecure little beagle when Francis and I went to meet her. She had a terrible start in life. Her previous owner neglected her for the first 2 years of her life. Holby stayed outdoor with very little shelter. It does very little to keep her dry nor warm, never socialised, never walked and never cuddled. Finally they called the animal shelter to say she is a stray....and gave her up.

It is now just over 7 months we have Holby. She has friends now. We go to the park, we play ball with her, we go for long walks, we socialise her by taking her to lots of places. We also took her on our 1 month summer break through France and Spain. Holby is still a little shy and insecure but she now has a family she deserve.

Francis and I have only Holby to protect. Beagle Welfare is looking after many beagles of same fate as Holby. They are looking for kind families to give forever homes to the beagles in their care. The Run Free Alliance ( formerly Beagle Welfare) is also petitioning to abolish the breeding and use of Beagles for animal experimentation in the UK.. Did you know, majority of the shampoo, make up, medication, household cleaning products were tested on beagles?

Friends, please dig deep and help these beagles. They need your help.

To the world, you maybe one person. To the one person, you maybe their WORLD.

Thank you from Holby, Francis and I xxxx
