Story

This year my challenge is the 3 Peaks (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon) in 24 hours.

Why?

For my own person satisfaction and to raise funds for a cause I feel passionate about - Cancer Research UK.

In early May this year NICE approved a drug that CRUK supported the early development of, abiraterone. I have seen the huge impact this drug can have on both Quality of Life and extending survival. It revolutionised Philip's life for 8 months in 2009.

As 1 in 3 people will develop the disease we need further work to beat cancer.

In Philip's words - "What are you waiting for?!"
