Every year in the UK, 14,000 people have their lives cut short following an accident. Millions more end up in A&E, many suffering injuries so serious their lives are never the same again. Accidents are also the biggest killer of children and young people... Yet they don't have to happen.

Story

When I learnt that accidents are the biggest killer of children by far, it just seemed obvious that supporting RoSPA is the best way to do good with a charitable donation.  I hope that others will take this on board too and that we can start to build up a groundswell of supporters who really want to make a difference by saving lives and reducing injuries.  In taking part in this open water event and swimming across Windermere, I want to help in my own small way and do hope that you will support me.  Have a look at the moving video, 'Too Young to Die', which will show you some of RoSPA's campaigns and give you an idea of how your donation can help :
