Hello everyone.

3 and a half years ago my best friend Neasan was diagnosed with incurable cancer of an unknown primary and in October 2020 we lost a kind and wonderful soul. Neasan always lived his life in the best way he knew how, and had an incredible fondness for adventure and the great outdoors. I, like many I know, aim to honour Neasan's memory by living our lives in a way that echoes of the love and kindness that was Neasan.

Neasan and his wonderful girlfriend Grace were planning on completing this 26 mile hike around the Lake District this year, however due to the Coronavirus pandemic, this was postponed to 2021. In Neasan's stead, myself and a group of friends are going to complete this walk (Harry, Charlie, Brady, Ben, Conor, Sam, Lee and Leo (in addition to Grace and their university friends and their page can be found at: www.justgiving.com/fundraising/teamneasanlakedistrict21)) to raise money for a charity that provided comfort and support to my best friend on his worst days. 

Any money raised goes to ensure that Macmillan can continue their fantastic work in providing care and comfort to all those in need.
