Suffolk Road recreation ground is undergoing a revamp!

The Friends of Suffolk Road recreation ground are working with the Council to transform this rec into a space which can be enjoyed by everyone in the community.

Our plans include an amazing natural playground for children of all ages
and a new dog-free area.

Based on local residents’ wish list, an inspiring playground company has produced this design which features swings, a climbing frame, a slide, a ground trampoline, and a huge sand pit. There will be a swing suitable for children with disabilities and a trampoline appropriate for wheelchair users, neither of which are currently available in Barnes.

We hope you love our playground design as much as we do (zoom in on the photo below).

Please help make this playground a reality by digging deep into your pocket and giving what you can.  It will benefit families in Barnes and
transform this much-loved space.
