90 Miles in October for Mind 💙
This October, I’m taking on the 90 Miles in October challenge for Mind — and every single mile will be dedicated to someone very special to me: my brother, RJ.
Sadly, earlier this year, I lost my brother to his mental health. Losing someone you love in this way is something I never imagined I would have to experience, and it has changed my life forever.
Mental health can affect anyone, regardless of their age, background or circumstances. Sometimes, behind a smile, someone can be fighting a battle that nobody else can see. My brother’s loss has shown me just how important it is that people have somewhere to turn, someone to listen, and access to the right support when they need it most.
That is why I’ve chosen to raise money for Mind. Their work helps people experiencing mental health problems by providing information, support and someone to turn to when things feel overwhelming. They also work to make sure mental health is taken seriously and that nobody has to face their struggles alone.
I’m doing these 90 miles in memory of my brother RJ, with the hope that the money I raise can help someone else get the support they need — and perhaps help prevent another family from experiencing the heartbreak of losing someone they love.
I know 90 miles will be a challenge, but every step will have a purpose. Every mile will be for RJ. 💙
If you are able to donate, no matter how big or small, I would be incredibly grateful. Your support could help Mind continue to be there for someone on what might be their darkest day.
For RJ. Always loved, forever missed. 💙
Thank you so much for supporting me and helping me turn something incredibly painful into something that I hope can make a difference. 🙏🏻
