Story

Suki’s Success Story for Resources for Autism

Despite it being an exhausting 5-hour journey. It has been a memorable and rewarding experience for me, especially as it was my first walking marathon. I thrive from giving and supporting others and this is exactly why I love the job that I do.

Realising how much of a difference our service at Resources for Autism makes for both the families and the child with autism is both fulfilling and valuable. Therefore, it is important to support charity-funded organisations and exactly why I wanted to pick RFA as my chosen charity whom I have been a part of the family since 2012. Every penny donated is vital and worthwhile ensuring that a child of autism and their families are equipped with the accurate support, care, and love they truly deserve.

Team RFA ensures the service provided is based on quality and not quantity offering individuals with autism stimulating, creative play, and fun experiences, with a holistic approach to their well-being and care. This creates a sense of community, and RFA could not run without this fantastic fundraising. This has always been a long live wish of mine to do something that goes beyond my daily role and complete a rewarding achievement such as, a half marathon.

I am proud to say that’s exactly what I did- achieve a half marathon with 113% over my fundraising target!
