Story
I've been supporting the Bras Across the Bridge event since the event's inception. When BAB first started, my sister Michele was battling breast cancer for the second time. She would later loose that battle on Valentines Day 2015. Michele lived in Memphis but was able to be in Pensacola for Bra's Across the Bridge before she passed away. Being a Pensacola native, it was very emotional for her to walk over the Bob Sikes Bridge. I will always hold those memories very close to my heart.
Every dollar that is raised through this event goes to support the Baptist Health Care Foundation's Mammogram Fund, which provides mammograms to women in our communities. Please join me as I continue to support this cause that is so near and dear to my heart. You're also welcome to join me at the event as we walk in unity over the Bob Sikes Bridge as a show of awareness and support in the fight against breast cancer! Mark your calendars for 8 a.m. Saturday. Oct. 5 in the Grand Marlin Pensacola Beach parking lot. Details and registration can be found here: https://www.baptisthealthcarefoundation.org/events/bras-across-the-bridgeThank you for support!
