3 Iron Distance Triathlons . That’s
7.2 miles Swam
336 miles Cycled
78.6 miles Ran at LAKESMAN, IRONMAN UK & OUTLAW...the accumulation of this challenge is a mammoth 36 hour Ultra Marathon running back and forth over the Humber Bridge facing sleep deprivation and the elements.
Well that was 2018.....so what’s in store for 2019...
If you conquer a mountain...you go find a bigger one ..
So ...this year...x5 IronMan races and x4 Ultras..
Swim 12 miles...Bike 560 miles...Run 131 miles
2020 - All Roads lead to DecaUK, this years challenges are IronMan races (standard) ...and the addition of Double IronMan races(so 2 in 24 hours) what could possibly go wrong!
Why?....cause cancer affects 1 in 3 of us and impacts any age of life. Ward 32 is the local oncology ward, and for some is there final destination. To support this Ward, all its staff, and give comfort to those there or there families, is what drives me to put one foot in front of the other and complete this challenge for those that never could...I’m just an ordinary guy...nothing special.....just looking to make a difference...
