Our RNLI lifeboats in Yorkshire and the North East protect hundreds of communities through our 24-hour search and rescue service. They rely on the safest, most reliable lifeboats and modern stations to launch from.

Story

Unfortunately due to the pandemic we have not been able to do many of our regular fundraising activities - such as our usual attendance at the Sunderland Air Show or hosting a harbour day and our fundraising has really suffered.  We are a charity and rely on your generous donations to be able to save lives at sea and keep our beaches safe.  We've set up this page to raise some funds while we are still unable to do the usual activity.  If you are able to donate we would be really grateful.   Thank you so much!

Keeping a modern feet of lifeboats maintained, fuelled and ever ready to go to the rescue from all Yorkshire and the North East lifeboat stations is expensive and we rely entirely on voluntary donations to ensure this service is maintained.   Your donation to this page will help support the running of Sunderland Lifeboat Station and our stations in the North East and Yorkshire
