Sundowner Ironman 70.3 · 16 September 2017
On Saturday 16th September we are planning to tackle the biggest challenge any of us have ever attempted - an ironman 70.3 (as 70.3 miles is the total distance covered). This involves a 1,900m swim, 90km bike ride and 21km run. We will be doing the equivalent of 75 lengths of a swimming pool, followed by cycling from London to Brighton, then completing the Great North Run. We are all hoping to finish in around 6 and a half hours, but finishing it the main objective!
We are doing this for Newlife, a fantastic charity Neil has worked at for the past 9 years. Neil has fundraised to help set up many of the charity's services and we have seen what a huge impact can be made to the lives of children and their families. Having paid for all of our entry and other costs ourselves, every penny of sponsorship we raise will go directly to help reach even more children with disabilities.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thanks so much for your support!
