Story

Woking & Sam Beare Hospice had been looking after the local community for 25 years. As a surgery team, we would like to help them raise £25k as part of their annual target to celebrate 25 years of care. In doing so, we hope they can continue to offer this valuable service to our loved ones for many more years to come.

To achieve this, we will have two separate teams. One will be tackling the National Three Peaks on the 11th September 2022 - starting with Ben Nevis, then on to Scafell Pike, and finishing with Snowdon. With our valuable support crew, Jackie Connolly (Medical Secretary) and our guide (Ray Dobbie) the hiking team are looking forward to putting their training into practice! The hikers include: Andy Bawler (Paramedic Practitioner), Dhru Patel (GP), Lesley Canning (Medical Secretary), Anita Liddiard (Healthcare Assistant), Holly Mitchell (Clinical Pharmacist) and Kathy Leach (Nurse).

Our other amazing team will be taking on a 10 mile walk organised by the hospice on the 25th September to celebrate their 25th anniversary. Leading the team is Chloe (Medical Receptionist). We would be very grateful if you could help support us all in raising valuable funds for a great cause!
