On March 21st, we're hosting a special version of our weekly community meal, Sunny's Kitchen, to fundraise in support of the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. We really appreciate any donations towards this appeal. 

Heavy fighting, shelling and air strikes across Ukraine have had devastating consequences. Already, over 2.5 million people have fled their homes to escape intense conflict in Ukraine. Leaving behind loved ones, livelihoods and almost everything they own, they need shelter, food, and water. People are losing their homes and lives, essential services like water and healthcare have been hit and temperatures have dropped below zero. 

Please support our fundraiser to help reach those in urgent need in Ukraine and neighbouring countries. With your help we can support ActionAid and the DEC (Disasters Emergency Committee) in scaling up their response and help families to stay warm and protect women and girls. 

This response includes: 

• Supporting families with food, first aid and medicines
• Supporting hospitals and healthcare facilities
• Repairing vital infrastructure
• Helping to repair homes, healthcare centres, schools and community centres.
