This year, All Saints RC School lost a dear friend and colleague, Jodie Cappleman to cancer. The sudden loss was a shock to us all and she is sorely missed.

Jodie was an inspirational teacher who taught in the Music Department not only at All Saints but also at Bridlington School, where she grew up and was also a pupil. The idea behind 'Sunrise 2 Sportsday' is that as the sun rises in Bridlington on July 7th, I will set off running to York. The idea is to (hopefully!) get to York University Athletics track where, that day, All Saints School is holding its annual Sports Day. My aim is to get to the athletics track before the close of Sports Day at around 3pm. This is quite a challenge as it is approximately 45 miles so I will have to run at a fairly consistent and quick pace over a pretty hilly route if I am to get there before the end of Sports Day!
