Story
Wiltshire Air Ambulance is a charity that provides an essential Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) across Wiltshire, Bath and surrounding areas. It needs to raise £4m a year to continue saving lives, but is not directly funded by the Government and receives no National Lottery funding, so relies on generous public donations.
Because of this we have decided to take on this mad challenge to play 3 golf courses in 3 different countries in one very long day...........
We tee off at 04:44 at Hawarden Golf Club in Wales on Saturday 18th June, moving on to Penrith Golf Cub in England, finally finishing up at sunset at Southerness Golf Club in Scotland. Just to make this a little bit harder, we will be not be using golf buggies but walking the entire rounds at each course.
Neither of us have even completed 2 rounds of golf at one course in a day let alone 3 in 3 different countries :-)
All money raised will be going to Wiltshire Air Ambulance. Any costs for travel and accommodation will be paid by us and green fees have been generously waived at each of the three courses that we are playing at.
