Starlight is the UK’s leading charity for children’s play in hospitals and hospices. We work to ensure every child can experience the power of play, supporting their mental and physical health during treatment and recovery from illness.

Story

On October 5th 2008, Sunseeker London employees, Lorraine Head, Lauren Head, Kim Woolford, Richard Tilley & Laura Harrison together with friends, Hayley Martin, Lucy Maynard and Sarah Sewell, will be running the ‘Run to the Beat’ half marathon around Greenwich, London to raise as much money as they can for the children’s charity ‘Starlight.’

Starlight Children's Foundation brightens the lives of seriously and terminally ill children by granting their wishes and providing hospital entertainment to help take their minds off the pain, fear and isolation of their illness. Sunseeker London has been a solid supporter of this charity for a number of years and always looks for ways to help.

To date, we have been successful in raising an outstanding £44,000.00 as a result of a local charity auction held in Essex, as well as £3,500.00 in donations received whilst exhibiting at the recent Southampton Boat Show.  We would really love to meet our target of £50,000.00, which would help us grant as many wishes as possible!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Starlight Children's Foundation will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
