Story
Stand up Paddle boarding for Deaf Children Australia or SUP4DCA was created as a charity event to raise much needed funds for rural deaf children. Rural deaf children often need to travel to major cities in order to seek services such as speech pathology along with other fundamental language skills. This can be both a timely and costly adventure for their families.
SUP4DCA hopes to raise $60,000 to go towards rural families in need of assistance. Thomas Dunn (adventurer) will be Stand Up Paddle Boarding Australia’s longest river system spanning 5 rivers across 4 states in 3 months. Tom will be beginning the journey in Warwick, Queensland, ending at the Murray Mouth in South Australia. Tom is due to set off, in February 2017.
