Story
I think its safe to say, at times many of us have struggled with our own Mental Health or someone close to us has needed that extra support. Over the last couple of years (thanks to Covid-19) there's been a rise in the number of people seeking support for a wide range of conditions such as Depression, Anxiety, Insomnia, PTSD and OCD to mention just a few.
Mental Health conditions can seriously impact our day to day lives, such as getting a simple nights sleep or being able to step outside our home, or for some its feeling desperately sad with no where to turn.
'Mind' are an amazing charity offering support in several different forms to anyone suffering from a Mental Health condition as well as offering advice and help to those supporting a loved one through difficult times. Not only do they offer support but 'Mind' continually campaigns for better Mental Health Services and Legislation.
Mental Health awareness and Mind in particular are important to Hannah, so she has teamed up with Nick from East of England Paddlesports to complete a 24hr SUP challenge (It'll be a tough one for Hannah due to part of it being through the night and her fear of darkness).
They'll be setting off from Bishop Stortford on 21st August 2021 and paddling to London (Paddington Basin), striving to complete the 70km paddle within 24hours.
Hannah will be completing the challenge and donating all funds raised to Mid & North East Essex Mind charity
Thank you for all your support, every penny helps!
