Story
SUPER SEPTEMBER IS BACK FOR 2026!!!!
We are raising as much money as possible for Blood Cancer UK, as this charity is close to our hearts. Our Mum, Denise Smith had bone marrow cancer ( MDS ). Unfortunately, there was no cure for this, it is something Mum had to live with and be monitored regularly to see how it progressed. Earlier in 2022, Mum had complications due to MDS and other conditions she had and we nearly lost her to sepsis. She managed to pull through two lots of sepsis and fought a long hard battle but unfortunately we lost our Mother to MDS on the 30.05.2022. I wouldn't wish what happened to our Mother on anyone and for that reason, I along with amazing Family and Friends will once again undergo a series of tasks in September to raise money for Blood Cancer UK with the hope that one day we can help aid the amazing people at BCUK find a cure.
This page is in Memory of our late Mother Denise Smith.
In September we will once again take on a series of challenges.
Challenge #1: Roseberry Topping - Mt Everest Ultramarathon, I will be attempting to scale Roseberry topping over and over again until i have gained the elevation of the worlds highest mountain ( Mt Everest ), this is a local landmark and to my knowledge has never been achieved before, it will take around 30+ hours of continuous movement and around 50 ascents descents to achieve.
