My name is Daniel, and in 2009 I lost my fiancée to cancer at the young age of 24. This was the hardest thing I have ever had to accept in life. Seeing the person you love going through chemotherapy is really tough, but the simple fact that she never stopped smiling kept me going in life. The reason for me dedicating the last 11 years to raising money for charity is down to this. Since then I have raised money in her memory for the charity CLIC Sargent who support children and young adults with cancer, and helped us and the people around us who were affected by this.

So 2020 didnt quite go to plan due to the Corona Virus Pandemic which ment 90% of my events got cancelled until this year. So 2021 will now be my epic year. this year i have got 17 x obstacle races, 13 of those will be Spartan races including the World Championships in Sparta. My main goal this year will hopefully be achieved when I will be going for at least 1 World Record as i climb to the summit of mount Kilimanjaro then drop down into the crater where i will be 1 of only 60 people from around the world taking on a once in a lifetime event taking on the Worlds Highest Obstacle race. Setting a Guinness World Record has always been a dream of mine since I was a little boy so what better way to get one than combines all the things i love in life. The main challenge I am looking to take on in 2020 to get the world record is the Worlds Highest Obstacle Course. This event is going to be the most challenging thing I have done to date. It will take place in the crater on the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro ( The worlds highest freestanding mountain)
