We are a group of people seeking to raise awareness of Brain Injury during Action for Brain Injury Week. Some of our group have been directly affected by brain injury, either personally or as a family member, friend or significant other. Some of us are committee members working to fundraise in order to provide better services and support to our members.

The brain organises everything that we think and do. An injury can affect almost every aspect of a person's daily life. It can cause problems with a person's thinking, mood, speech and movement. Some of the difficulties are more subtle leading brain injury to be called a 'hidden disability'.

Headway West London provides support to people affected by brain injury, whether through accident, stroke or illness. We are fundraising to help them increase the level of service provision for people affected by brain injury in West London.
