Story

Thanks for taking a look!

I am either very brave or very silly to be attempting this challenge, but I can't help but be excited to be taking part! This is quite a daunting prospect, especially since I can't remember the last time I had more than a few hours sleep in one go (thanks Teddy)! But it is Teddy who will keep me going.

DS Achieve is a small local charity, which has been a lifeline for me as I at first came to terms with, and then embraced Teddy's diagnosis of Down Syndrome. Throughout lockdown, and when things were really rough, they were there helping me to see the silver lining that was there all along. I have also met a fantastic bunch of staff, volunteers and of course, other families with their gorgeous children! DS Achieve offer support to families, teaching classes, access to therapists and other professionals, and lots of opportunities for socialising and having fun.

Any donation you could give would be so gratefully received, and would benefit Teddy (and lots of other wonderful children like him) to help him grow to reach his full potential. It will also spur me on to (hopefully) complete the challenge!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
