I discovered CGMC at a make-or-break point in my life. Since then, as a member, I've found a creative outlet for myself, met challenges head on and realized positive personal growth. I've forged healthy friendships and gained new purpose. So much so that I stepped up to become our membership director at the end of 2020. I am a believer in the Chorus's mission. I believe in its artistry. And I believe in the power of the camaraderie it fosters among myself and others. Because of this, I'm asking you to help us continue making music during CGMC's upcoming 32nd season.

COVID didn't shut us down. We surmounted all obstacles and were the only GALA Choruses organization in America to perform a full season of live, in-person shows last year. Masked and socially distanced but together. Without a single illness. Our success, however, came at a financial cost. We invested in innovation, sought out non-traditional rehearsal spaces, engaged unique performance venues, shouldered exponential equipment needs and still paid the salaries of hardworking, dedicated staff. All this, even as the pandemic hampered normal fundraising efforts.

So now it's our goal to raise at least $25,000 via this campaign and make up lost ground. A mighty task for any one of us, to be sure. But at around 100 active members strong, that's as little as $250 per member. Won't you help me reach and exceed my personal fundraising target?
