Kiota is an independent charity set up to raise project specific funds for Kiota Womens Health and Development (KIWOHEDE), a Tanzanian organisation working for the rights, health and development of women and children in Tanzania. Kiota has funded:

• Four full time teachers, including a head teacher
• Stationery and teaching aids
• A snack and light lunch for the students and staff
• Social work outreach and student welfare costs, including medical costs
• Electricity and water
• Two security guards
• 20 sets of essential school books
• Building maintenance
• School trips, including for sport and core subjects
• Travel to a residential maths camp
