Running 13.1 Miles for Justice for Harshita Brella
On race day, I'll be taking on a half marathon to raise funds for a cause that means a great deal to me: supporting Harshita Brella's family as they continue their fight for justice following her tragic murder.
No family should have to face the unimaginable pain of losing a loved one. Yet, alongside their grief, Harshita's family must also cope with the significant financial burden of travelling to and staying in the UK so they can be present as the criminal justice process continues.
Being able to meet directly with those involved in the case, and stand together in pursuit of justice should not depend on whether a family can afford the cost of international travel and accommodation.
Every pound raised will help ease that financial burden, enabling Harshita's family to be present in the UK as they seek answers and continue their campaign for justice.
Running 13.1 miles is a challenge, but it is insignificant compared with the journey Harshita's family has been forced to endure. I'm dedicating every mile to them and to the belief that every victim's family deserves dignity, support and access to justice.
If you are able to donate, no matter how much, your contribution will make a real difference. If you can't donate, please consider sharing this page with your friends, family and colleagues.
Together, we can stand with Harshita's family and help ensure that financial barriers do not prevent them from participating in the pursuit of justice.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity and support.
