Story
We are delighted to say that we have again received permission to run our Christmas Parcel Appeal which is fully backed and endorsed by the MOD and BFPO with whom we work closely with to ensure that the mail system isn't overloaded which can result in delays in delivery of mail from loved ones.
In 2011 we sent our allocation of Christmas parcels which were very well received by the lads and lassies serving overseas and helped to raise morale at what is a very difficult time for them to be away from their families and loved ones.
Christmas gifts will, again, be sent to the injured in establishments such as Headley Court to show our support and appreciation and to wish them well with their rehabilitation.
With a donation of £5 a Christmas Welfare Parcel will be sent, on your behalf, to member of the UK's Armed Forces who are serving overseas on Christmas Day on your behalf. If you would like us to include a message from you with your parcel you can e-mail the message to christmas@supportoursoldiers.co.uk and we will ensure that your message is included.
Every donation made to this page will be turned into a Christmas Welfare Parcel to go out to Afghanistan. In the event that we have reached our allocation of 12000 parcels, any remaining parcels will be sent out to the lads and lassies in January.
Thank you for taking the time to look at our Just Giving Page and thank you so much if you have been kind enough to make a donation.
If you would like any further details about this appeal or have any questions please e-mail christmas@supportoursoldiers.co.uk for more information.
Thank You!!
