On September 5th 2015, Joey will be 18.  To celebrate this, Joey, his mum, sister, brother, girlfriend and best friend will be completing 2 challenges, yes 2, to raise money for Teenage Cancer - Tree Top Adventure, including 106 ft Power Plummet and Sky Ride, followed by Zip World Titan, including all 3 Zip Slides, Anarchy, Bedlam and Chaos.  Unfortunately, I am unable to take part, but am in the process of organising a Skydive.

I set this page up for the support of my youngest sibling, Joey, and the Teenage Cancer Trust. I initially put the target at £1,000 but since then the response has been amazing so I hope we surpass it!

Joey was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (A.L.L.) on 3rd April 2014, aged 16, is in remission, but still has a long way to go.  In A.L.L. patients, malignant, immature white blood cells continuously multiply and are overproduced in the bone marrow.  Normal cells are then crowded out by the immature white blood cells, which then spread to other organs.

Joey is the youngest of 4 and will forever be known as the baby of the family. He is a young fun boy looking forward to starting 6th form after an 18 month break.

At times like this we appreciate all support given to the family. Luckily for us this is curable, but it will take a considerable amount of time. In order to try and eradicate this disease we need to help raise funds!
