Story

Thanks to your generosity, Support Our Soldiers was able to raise £15,000 for BLESMA during 2008 and we look forward to supporting this wonderful charity once again this year.

BLESMA promotes the welfare of men and women who have lost a limb or limbs, or one or both eyes, or the use of limbs as a result of service in any branch of Her Majesty's Forces or Auxiliary Forces. They also assist dependants of limbless ex-service men and women and help those who lose a limb after service. Today BLESMA helps thousands of amputees of all ages, from those who served during WWII to those who served in more recent conflicts and peace keeping missions.

Once again this year 10% of all monies raised during our Awareness Week in June will be donated to BLESMA, and a contribution will also be made from our Christmas Appeal.

If you'd like to make an individual donation that will be much appreciated and you can do so via this page.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to donate: BLESMA gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you for your support, with your help we really can make a difference.
