Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Nottingham University Students Union of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Association's (SUPRA) JustGiving page.

On Saturday 30th April, students and lecturers will be embarking on a challenge to climb Pen Y Ghent, Whernside & Ingleborough which is roughly 40K in 12 hours. For some of us it will be a great challenge, for others a walk in the park, but we're all looking forward to the camping, the trek and celebrating all of your generous donations.

Our aim is to raise as much money as possible for CRY in memory of Alex Reid. CRY is a charity which works to support young people and their families though life threatening cardiac conditions.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

If you would rather donate in person or by another means please let one of us know and we will organise something.

Any donations, big or small will be greatly appreciated by us, CRY and friends and family of Alex Reid. Alex was 16 years old when she passed away. She wanted to be a medic but we still reckon she would have made a great Physio. She was a very loving and thoughtful girl who is missed by her family and friends greatly.

For more details, please contact Anya Lotay or Sophie Marsden on msyal@nottingham.ac.uk or mcysem@nottingham.ac.uk

Thank you for your time, donations and support.
