I am supporting SPENSOL, a wonderful charity which organises,supports and funds ski opportunities for young people in Surrey with disabilities and special needs.

The annual ski trip to Prato Nevoso in Italy is currently in its 23rd year and has helped hundreds of Surrey students in specialist educational provisions access this exciting sport.

I have had the privilege of joining an army of volunteers on 5 occasions. We take over Hotel Mondole each year and are well known in the village.The Prato Nevoso ski school provide excellent coaching for students.Some have shown real talent and a few have gone on to participate in the Special Olympics.

Not only does the ski trip offer students an opportunity to challenge themselves and experience an otherwise inaccessible extreme sport ,but also it is a great social opportunity for all.
