Story
We have entered the Challenge Cancer Cycle event over the last 2 years as a team completing 25 miles and raising money for this wonderful charity and we are doing it once again!
After being diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2007 I discovered it had returned in my brain in 2016 and that is where my journey began with The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre.
It is because of the The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity's support that they can fund pioneering research into the latest cancer treatments to help people like myself fight this terrible disease.
Last year my Consultant needed to look for more treatment options and because of research I have been able to commence on a new combination of targeted therapy and immunotherapy treatment.
I have been on this treatment since January and my tumours are responding amazingly.
Without funding for such valuable research and technology these treatments would not become available.
So we are off again to raise as much as we can.
Please support myself , my wife Sue , my sister Pauline and sister in law Paula as we cycle 25 miles to raise vital funds for this amazing charity.
