Simon was serving in the RAF in Kosovo at the time of his death. However he was at home on leave when he passed due to an infection that he contracted during his tour. A lot of people in Highworth knew Simon and as such will know that Simon was a fun loving party animal who was taken far too soon at the age of 25. Since he went away we his parents have raised a small amount of money for Military Charities and this is yet another call for your help

We - a team of 24 people, made up of Simon's wonderful friends and people we now conside family, will be cycling the distance between Gibraltar where Simon was born and Highworth where he was brought up and a place he loved. We are cycling on "spinning bikes" and have to cover the distance in 24 hrs - a total of 1,085 miles as the crow flies.

The event will take place at the King and Queen public house in Highworth on 25/26 September 2015, commencing at 19:00.  All monies raised will be split between the RAF Benevolent Fund and Help for Heroes

We, as his parents know it's not easy for everyone out there but its even harder for those that return home either injured - or worse - please give generously - we know that you will and please be assured that Simon would be the first in the queue to donate - if only he could
