Story

Last May during the week of the London marathon ballot, I was diagnosed with cancer. On the way to talk with my best friend, with tears rolling down my face, I decided that I had to put my running to good use.

After 8 months of treatment - Chemo x6, Mastectomy, Radiotherapy x15 - it's now time to focus on the London marathon. All the way through my treatment, my first question was "Can I train?"; even when I got a blood clot in my neck. And so I became known by the NHS staff as the lady running the London marathon for the Cancer Unit at the Churchill Hospital.

if you would like to be part of my journey, please sponsor me to say Thank You to all the wonderful staff at the Churchill Hospital but also to help others who have a similar journey.

To everyone with Cancer - keep doing what is important to you, eat healthy, drink lots of water, get lots of rest but most important BELIEVE.

Bring on London :-)
