Story
I am walking at least 150 miles between now and my birthday, at the start of March, to raise money for SiMBA, which is a charity close to my heart and has been a great support to my family. This may not sound like much of a challenge in this time scale, however, I work full time and my days off are spent on the farm so time may not be my friend, but I will achieve it. Please give as generously as you can. I am aware times are tough for everyone just now but every little helps and Gift aid will supplement. Thank you in advance.
The SiMBA Tree of Tranquillity is a stunning hand crafted, life sized copper sculpture that gives bereaved families the opportunity to honour their baby in a simple and positive way. The Tree design is unique to SiMBA, and has been created in response to feedback from parents. The tree if a life sized copper sculpture where each leaf is engraved with a personal message in honour of a baby. The Tree of Tranquillity provides comfort for not only the newly bereaved but also parents who sadly lost their baby years ago and were perhaps provided with little or no recognition of their babys existence. The Tree provides the means to express a private and public declaration of the lost hopes and dreams that the family had for their baby. It is a beautiful symbol of remembrance.
