In July  2015 my son James passed away after having a cardiac arrest as a result of undiagnosed Sarcoidosis. SILA are the only UK charity at present which address Sarcoidosis but unfortunately they have limited public awareness and as a result struggle to access adequate funds to continue on-going research into this disease.
