With the cost of living crisis, hundreds of people are becoming homeless this year across the UK. Though we've called it the 'Winter Sleepout' fundraiser,  every day someone will be sleeping on the streets for the first time. This is tragic. Your giving can make a real difference to someone's life through sponsoring me. 

On Saturday 11th March 2023, as part of a UK wide team, I'll be sleeping out, for one night, to raise funds for Webber Street Day Centre, in Southwark, based very close to Waterloo Station. For the 8th year, I'll either be sleeping outside in my garden (or if trains allow) joining the team to sleep out in a park behind the Webber Street Centre.

As a result of your kind giving, the Webber Street team will be able to continue to empower guests to access nourishing hot meals, a safe place to rest and be, friendly chats (if they want to), clean clothes, help with finding accommodation, a permanent address to collect mail from, computers, creativity through regular art classes, as well as spiritual support and opportunities to explore Christian faith through prayer and Bible studies. 

A £1 and gift aid will make such a difference to the services guests can experience. Thank you very much for being willing to give and show love and practical care to those experiencing homelessness.
