On September 12th 2017 my father died of multiple organ failure.  He was literally a bag of skin and bones and a shadow of the wonderful man I loved and admired.

His dementia wasn't diagnosed until very near the end and, by that time, there was nothing that could be done.

I have set myself the challenge of walking 200 miles during September to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer's Charity so that others will not have to watch a loved one suffer and die the way I did.
