Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.  A group of us are walking the womens 10k in memory of our colleague Karen McManus who sadly lost her battle against Breast Cancer in 2011.  Our walk is also in recognition of our colleague Elaine who is strong, healthy and achieved her 5 years clear - well done!

Maggie's Centre is an amazing charity who supported and cared for Karen and Elaine through their journey's.  They would often meet up there and this experience brought them strength.  They talked so positively of the importance of having a place to go, where everyone understood how you felt!  This is why we chose this charity given it was so special to their hearts and made a different to so many others.
